Floral Border

I had this idea for the flowers on this card from the one I did the other day. I finally got a chance to stamp the card today. I really like how this turned out. I cut the flower pot out and popped it up on dimensionals. The sun is bright so its casting the shadow on it. This stamp set is from Flourishes This set is just wonderful. We are going to be gone for the weekend, so no posts till we get back. I have some FUN FUN FUN things for next week. You all know its the NFL start of their REGULAR season on Thursday. WHOHOO!!! So that will be a FUN topic for the week. Check back Monday for another Monday Mouse Madness!

I like how this turned out. The flowers around the circle were made using this flower pot only the top flowers. I like how this turned out.

FLLC Flower for Regina

A group of us on SCS do a weekly card for someone on the Need a Lift Thread. This week Debi choose Regina to send a card to. Regina had gastric bypass surgery a few weeks ago and is recovering from the surgery at home. She could use a smile. Our requirements this week were to use a flower on the card and a uplifting sentiment. I think this sentiment just about sums it up. I love these pearls, the just add that last little bit I think.

Summer Flourishes

I got my new Flourishes yesterday and I was very excited to play last night. I had some problems though. My hands and the papers would not get what was in my head onto the card. So frustrating. I had these grand ideas in my head and then ugh... I hate when that happens. But never fail... I will try try again. lol

The wine table is the one that turned out the closest to what I had thought out. The wine bottle and glasses are up on dimensionals. I sponged all around with barely banana to give it a night light hue. But its very cloudy today and I can't get a good picture.

I got this wonderful dp for the summer snowflakes from the boys for my birthday. They did so good this year picking out papers. Well off to try again.

Monday Mouse Madness Bassinet

Good morning! Today is the first day of the House Mouse and Friends new Design Team Emma put together. Be sure to check out the link and play along with us. For my Monday madness challenge Angel and I thought we would make the base of our card something other than standard. Since I was doing a baby card I thought I would give a bassinet card a try. I think it turned out pretty cute. It is a 5x7 size card and I free hand drew the base. The paper weaving took sometime though. lol You can click on the picture if you would like a closer view. Flowers for you

Well canning season has started for me so my stamping time is limited since canning takes up a lot of my time. But I did get two cards done last night. I am very pleased with how they turned out also. My new Flourshes stamps are not here yet, but that is a good thing since I wouldn't be able to use them much right now.

My first Magnolia card

Good morning. This is my first card using a magnolia image. They are the sweetest stamps and I have the luck of getting some images from my wonderful Anne Ryan on SCS. Thank you so much again Anne.

I have a lot to learn about watercoloring them I know, but I am willing to give it another try. haha Just a little smile for you this Thursday. Make sure to check back Monday morning. Monday Mouse Madness Surprise

Welcome again to Monday Mouse Madness, I have some exciting news so I thought I would post a little early. Emma has a blog set up for House mouse challenges and she contacted me to see if I would be interested in being on the Design Team. Well YES ofcourse I would. I am so tickled to be on the team and its going to be so much fun.

Since the challenges are going to be on Mondays I will be able to combine them with my MMM! I am so excited and I hope you girls join in on the challenges with us. The challenges for the DT will start next week, and I will keep you informed.

This week Angel and I wanted to add a little something for you to try with your cards by adding some Liquid glass or crystal effects to your HM card. I added LG to my water droplets for the wet look. Its so cool! You can see Angels card tomorrow morning here

Fruits of the spirit

I got my new set of stamps from Our Daily Breads that I won last week. YEAH! I love their stamps and I was excited when I actually won a set. This is called Fruits of the Spirit. Laundry Day

Well paper laundry that is, hee hee. I told DH that I needed to get some shirts done. I didn't specifiy what shirts I meant. lol Anyways... Not much time to stamp but I did get two things done. My MIL wanted a card with some butterflies on it for a friend. Done.

Then she also wanted me to make some sort of small punch card for her store. I thought these would make super cute punch cards. She has mostly women who use the punch cards, so why not have some fun with it. I made them in a few colors. The sun is really shining so I didn't get great pictures , sorry about that.
