What is your cup of tea?

It's that time again for Flourishes Pre-Release challenge. This is your chance to win the WHOLE release by creating a card with this in mind: Let's be inspired by the containers of some of our favorite kinds of beverages! Check out the newsletter for more details!
Hope you get a chance to play along with us, you never know yours might just be the winning creation! Sneak peeks for the new release start on Wed 1oth. I am excited about this months releases (when am I not) but that is besides the point. I have made a few gifts for some very sweet and wonderful friends. I am really excited to share them with you, so be sure to check back.
The first thing that came to mind was my coffee in the morning. I jump start my day with a cup of coffee and checking my email. Its is a good way for me to wake up in the morning before the boys get out of bed. Now I put a creamer in my coffee so its more like a caramel color. The pkg of the coffee is green and cream colored. I used the Angelic love set and my favorite sentiment in the set. This beautiful paper is MB Gossamer and I love this paper. This can be a great friendship card, thought of you or even a Valentine card. I really like how this turned out. Be sure to check out the girls cup of tea:
Christine
Cindy
Julie
Latisha
Laura
Leslie
Now most of you know that Sunday is the big game. WHOHOO... My Colts are going to play their best and I am sure they will win over all. I won't be around much till Monday, so hopefully I can catch up on all your creations then. Enjoy your weekend and happy stamping.

When I saw the Flourishes challenge post, my thoughts were how I would do a card based on a plastic bottle of water. Blue and white label...hmm....that's Stacy's signature color combo...off to her blog for inspiration...
And here you are with a VERY PRETTY card!!
Have a great weekend and GO COLTS!!

Now, living just 3 hours from New Orleans I will have to root for the saints this sunday......

Love the sentiment - how true it is! Darling card. Will be watching the game tomorrow. We have a divided house. My son likes the abbreviation NO for New Orleans and thus is voting for the saints (gotta love the logic of a 9 year old LOL!)
Looking forward to watching the game.

Love how you were inspired! What a pretty little card with the caramel and green -- very nice combo and a perfect backdrop for this adorable angel. I'm looking forward to my Friday afternoon mocha. Just one hour away! Yay for Fridays!! Okay, GO COLTS!! (I don't even know who they are, but I'll cheer for your team any old time)!!!

Oh my goodness, Stacy! This card is so beautiful and romantic. I LOVE it!

GO COLTS!!! (My h.s. senior's favorite team all year (even more than the hawks!) has been the colts. He is really bummed as he has to go scuba diving in puget sound on sunday and will miss watching the game live. Told him we will TiVo it for him, but he said it's just not the same! lol I know I know... he is taking scuba lessons for his senior project and has already been on 4 dives and has 8 more to do in that COLD water in the winter. At least he is getting pretty good with a dry suit.. but geeez... I could never do it. Water has to be warm for me to even think about it!)

Anyway... GORGEOUS card!!! lol
