For my creation today using Feminine Charm I went Chic.... or as my DH would say no white! ha ha Yep sticking with his challenge of no white this month. Doing okay, but I fell off the wagon later you will see. ha ha Framed the beautiful hat with Spellbinders Fleur De Lis rectangles. Placed some of the gorgeous red velvet ribbon down the side with the black faux suede ruffled ribbon. Added a few kaiser pearls and popped the image up on dimensionals. I have to say for no white I do love how this turned out. The design team has some gorgeous creations for you today: Christine
Cindy
Julie

See you back here tomorrow!

Each, this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the warm papers and colors you chose, it makes the card look like it came from the Roaring 20's! I love your die frame and the ribbon accent too :)

Love all the little details you have on this pretty card! Especially the way you framed that lovely hat; the rich looking ribbons; and the little sprinkle of pearls.

I think we all have things we tend to gravitate to so tell DH that I love you and your white! It is fun to switch it up though isn't it?

I agree with Amanda, after I read her comment I thought -- she's right -- there is something roaring 20s about this card. Too pretty Ms. Stac with that window and fleur de lis die. And, you're still listening to John and the no white challenge? UGH! I love that about your cards! Well, I guess there are only two more weeks in September! HA!!!!

SO pretty, Stacy!!! But...where's the white, LOL?!!! Fabulous and chic!

Love the elegance and the image -- I love the elegance against the humor of the hat as a lampshade! Sorta the inverse of the drunk wearing a lampshade! Maybe he's out dancing with the woman whose hat this is!

Very chic! I love the bold colors & the hint of red suede ribbon is a perfect compliment to the ribbon around the hat.

Naomi said...

Beautiful! Love the colours, love that frame, love the pearls...simply FABULOUS and what a GORGEOUS new stamp set!

Love this look with the frame at an angle. What's that I see, could it be a touch of white on the sentiment tag???

See now I think you should do more months without white...cause this is STUNNING. The depth and drama in the black and red is amazing. And I love how the hat and stand look dimensionally.

Did you see how you and Cindy switched identities this month? She used tons of white and you couldn't! :)
