TT Altered Christmas

Today on the Timeless Tuesday challenge over on Flourishes Blog is Altered Christmas brought to us by Amanda. Create anything that isn't a card for Christmas. Such a a decoration, a treat item, a banner you name it as long as its not a card. Be sure to check out the blog and link your creations.
This gave me the perfect chance to get a project done that I have wanted to do. This is a Christmas decoration that is fun and super easy peasy to make. If you have seen the movie Santa Claus 3 with Tim Allen you might understand more of what I was trying to create. I love Mrs. Claus red cloack she wears and really would love to have one myself. ha!  Its really is gorgeous and only she can pull that off in the winter I tell you. Anyways...
Above you will see the cloak around the base of my manaquin die cut. I have colored the manaquin in red paint and once dried I added pearls to the dress form. Wrapped sone awesome black velvet ribbon around the waist with a silver finishing touch ribbon slider. The dress form has a classic white cardstock backing that is embossing with swiss dots. I kept this rather simple in design as I was going with the cloak for the main attraction to the manaquin. I have a perfect spot for this in all my decorations so I am very excited.
Below is where the cloak is wrapped around the manaquin as it will most likely be displayed with the other items in the corner where this will go. I bought some beautiful red silk material at the LSS and hand sewn the white white organza roses ribbon to the edges to create the similar look of fur on Mrs. Claus cloak in the movie. I added a pin to the center using Naturally Merry stamp set.
My holly is colored using copic collections:

This turned out beautiful and the photo's are not that great for you, sorry about that. You get the idea and can imagine how this really looks. Fun project and hope you get to play along in our challenge this week! Have a wonderful day.
