More is More Christmas

Today is November 1st and you know what that means? If you have not been working on your Christmas cards all year like we have you are rushing around about now. hee hee However for those of us who have been playing along in the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge all year we are sitting pretty good with most of our creations done. November's challenge is a fun one and incorporates one of the DD challenges called MIM aka More Is More. You create a simple version of your card and then make a second one the same except it is all glammed up! Be sure to use keyword SCSCCNOV12 so we can find your creations if you play along with us. We would love to have you join us.

For my creations I used a new gruffies I got called Bears on Ice. Are they not totally CUTE!  My simple version is on top and is a great flat rate mailer for postage. I stamped the bears out onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I then colored them with various copics. Added a little ribbon and a sparkler for the bow center and some glitter on the scarves. My more is more version has faux stitching around the edges, a shaped frame for the base and bears panel. The ribbon has a crochet ribbon base with the bells and felt snowflakes added to the bow center. I also have glitter added to the scarves on this one. I have to say I do like the MIM version more, however they are both cute with the bears in general. ha! Thanks for stopping in with me today! Happy Stamping!

Both versions look amazing. The frosty blue mixed with the red just pops. Great stamp! Hugs!
