Thank you and a thoughtful request

I can't believe it is Wednesday already, where did the first of the week go? Guess when you are so busy you don't notice the time go by. Well today a thank you card is in order, in fact I had a recent order from one of the girls at DH work for some Thank you cards. This is one that I created with Zinnia's. I stamped the flower onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
Colored with copic collections:

Once colored I cut all around the image so that I could pop it up on dimensionals. I really like this look especially against the white background, gives such a classy look I think. Added my sentiment from Inside and Out Thank you. I scored around the border before I added the flowers.

My paper is from our Color Made Easy Terra Cotta collection. I am not much on orange when creating however I am slowly trying to work with it more. How did I do? ha!  Added a few scattered Kaiser snow white pearls and voila!

Did you see the post on Flourishes blog this weekend? This weekend, Flourishes helped with a very touching and special fundraiser for a teenage girl who's life was literally turned upside down last February. Brianne Payne was driving down the street on her way home when another driver blew through a red light and careened right into her car -- hitting her driver side door. She suffered a broken pelvis and spent much of the last few weeks in a coma. You can click on the video below to learn more about Bri's story.... Yesterday, friends of the family held a "Crafting for Bri" fundraising event to help the family with their mounting medical bills. And while Flourishes donated to the cause, we know that we are a part of a beautifully generous crafting community!! That's why we are putting out a call to help lift the Payne family's spirits. We can do what we do best -- make and send cards of encouragement!! Bri will be spending quite a bit of time on the road to recovery, so let's let her family know that we are thinking about them and sending prayers their way.

You can send cards to:

Brianne Payne
℅ Spectrum Health Rehab &Nursing Center Kalamazoo
Ave. 4118 Kalamazoo Ave.
Grand Rapids, MI 49508
Room Number: 508-2

Thanks in advance for your thoughtfulness! We know it will be very much appreciated!
I am hoping you will send a card to the family as I have. Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday!

What a tragedy for this young girl, I will be happy to get a card out in the mail to her and her family.
