Soothing thanks

Happy Friday everyone! I haven't posted since last Friday I know, but I did say we had a full weekend and that extended into the week. My parents sold their house so we were packing up u-hauls, trailers, trucks etc.  The house selling is a blessing, my dad found out his surgery for his knee (again) is Sept. 14th. So getting the house all moved now was a blessing!
Baseball and Basketball have ended for the summer, yet Football started up on Wednesday full board. Not to mention life in general going on. So time in the stamping room has been rather limited. Anyways... you didn't want to hear about my busy times did you. How about some soothing soft Coneflowers today? That's right, Power Poppy introduced earlier this week the new beautiful Easy Breezy Coneflowers! Oh my....

In the past when I searched on Coneflowers I came across these white petals and yellow centers that were just so pretty. Much like the ones you can find on the PP Blog post HERE.  Figured why not go with a soft and soothing card for today. These are printed onto white card stock and colored with Copic markers. A little bit of faux stitching around the border and the vellum backing. Wrapped some lace trim in a matching cream color to the designer paper. Stamped the sentiment onto vellum as well and added some sparkles and sequins. Voila!

Be sure to check out the Bloom Brigade creations today:

Oh, Stacy, you are one busy gal! So glad your parents' house sold so quickly, and I'll be praying for your dad's knee surgery. You are so dear to help them move given all the sports for the twins. And, wow! I love the beautiful card with these delicately colored coneflowers. I saw these and almost went that way with my card (and will in the future). They are beautifully colored, and I love the soft hue of blue to accent the white. Beautiful layout with the sequins and your faux stitching, and the lace, vellum and button/twine all finish it perfectly! What a stunning card, my friend! You continue to amaze and delight with your cards and how many you do each month! Wow! Hugs, sweet friend!

Wow! Busy week! And here I'm having such a nice time, but busy, too. In a good way. Doing whatever I please. It's awesome! Your card is just beautiful, Stacy. I love the coneflowers in white. I have yet to color mine, but they're on my table. Love the sentiment on vellum, too. Hope you get a chance to relax soon!
