Midsummer Stunner Collection Release Day

Happy Power Poppy's Midsummer Stunner Collection Blog Hop!  That's right we have been showing off some gorgeous sneak peeks the last five days and we have heard you are just as excited as we are with the new stamps! Whohooo!!!

All stamps are available now in the Power Poppy store. Today I am going to show you another one from our Midsummer Stunner Collection called Tea in the Garden.

When I created this the person I had in mind is about 14 years old and loves polkadots. It took me two days to complete this card, not because its complex but too many other things going on. I know she is going to adore this though. See more buttons, told you they were popular with my release this time. ha ha  Both the sentiment and the cake are die cut using a tag die just for the heck of it. A simple scallop edge along the bottom and some sparkles to the berries for the final touch. Easy Peasy!

Day Four Midsummer Stunner Collection

Good morning and welcome to Power Poppy's Midsummer Stunner Collection. That's right we have some gorgeous sneak peeks for you of seven, I repeat seven stamp sets. Whohooo!!!
These seven sets will all be fully available tomorrow in the PP store. Have you been enjoying all the sneak peeks so far? I thought so.  ;-)  Today in our Midsummer Stunner Collection are Tea in the Garden and Party Time on some of the blogs today.

ACK!! This set is totally fun and so cheery, I adore it all! This is Tea in the Garden and such a delight. My card is using the lemonade pitcher that is colored with Copic markers. There is liquid glass added to the jar and pitcher yet it didn't come out to well in the photo. A simple designer paper background and a few buttons down the edge. My Spellbinders A2 die cut along the bottom and voila!

Once again Marcy has some wonderful insight behind Tea in the Garden over on the Power Poppy Blog for you to read. And remember the blog hop is tomorrow and all stamps available to order in the PP Store.

Day Three Midsummer Stunner Collection

Good morning and welcome to Power Poppy's Midsummer Stunner Collection. That's right we have some gorgeous sneak peeks for you of seven, I repeat seven stamp sets. Whohooo!!! These seven sets will all be fully available June 28th in the PP store.

So let's get started with our Midsummer Stunner Collection called Dynamic Duos Foxglove and Rananculus and Everything's Even Rosier on some of the blogs today.

These Ranunculus are just fantastic aren't they? Oh I love these flowers as the petals are so dainty and so many of them. A blast to color! How about a Z-Fold card today using Dynamic Duos Foxglove and Ranunculus. This designer paper is from my bin of left overs so I don't remember the company. My sentiment is on the inside with some more designer paper down the right edge so when its closed you see a hint of the paper inside also. Added sparkle to the front and a few enamel dots. Voila
Below is the open version of the card.

Marcy has some insight behind the Dynamic Duos Foxglove and Ranunuclus over on the Power Poppy Blog.
Remember these are all available to order June 28th in our Blog Hop at the PP Store

Good morning and welcome to Power Poppy's Midsummer Stunner Collection. That's right we have some gorgeous sneak peeks for you of seven, I repeat seven stamp sets. Whohooo!!! These seven sets will all be fully available June 28th in the PP store. The next four days we will share samples of one or two sets per day, how cool is that! So let's get started with our Midsummer Stunner Collection called Nice Things To Say and Dream Wedding on some of the blogs.

I paired my sentiment from Nice Things To Say with the beautiful Sunflower Power digi. So many of the sentiments in the set make me smile. I am glad I have a go to set for sentiment's as I tend to send a lot of thank you and happy for you cards. Now I think I went crazy with buttons this release and you will notice most of my creations have them this release. Hey buttons, sequins, pearls its all good! hee hee  A scalloped border along the right side and some sparkles to finish it off. Voila!

Marcy has some insight into Nice Things To Say over on the Power Poppy Blog. Remember we have a few more days of sneak peeks and all the stamps will be available June 28th in the PP Store.

Day One Midsummer Stunner Collection

Good morning and welcome to Power Poppy's Midsummer Stunner Collection. That's right we have some gorgeous sneak peeks for you of seven, I repeat seven stamp sets. Whohooo!!! These seven sets will all be fully available June 28th in the PP store.

The next five days we will share samples of one or two sets per day, how cool is that! So let's get started with our Midsummer Stunner Collection
 called Soothing Sympathy.

When I create sympathy cards I tend to use blue and creams a lot and I am not sure why other than they are soft and soothing. My sentiment is behind the main panel using a circle die cut in the designer paper. The flower is colored with Copic markers and then cut around so that I was able to pop it up on the front. A stitched die cut border for the designer paper and a ribbon tied around the base. A few pearls and voila!

Marcy has some insight behind Soothing Sympathy over on the Power Poppy Blog for you to check out. Remember we have seven sets to show you over the next few days and orders can start on June 28th when they go live in the PP store.

Prayer box

Good morning! Did you see the newest instant garden release from Power Poppy on Wednesday? Oh you don't want to miss this one! This is called Rose and Chamomile. Beautiful spray for flowers with this rose that you will enjoy coloring I promise. Check out the Power Poppy Blog for Marcy's insight into this new digi.

For my creation today I have used the Valentine Box tutorial for a gift box today using Rose and Chamomile. A very feminine feel to this wouldn't you say? My image is colored with various Copic markers. I actually printed this same size twice so that I would pop up the rose you can see a side angel here of how its popped up from the box. I rolled the edges around so it is not necessarily flat but a rounded popped up. Does that make sense?

Here is the box when the lid is on. My designer paper is cut in the same Spellbinders shape and wrapped with some crochet ribbon and seam binding. Added a few pearl accents and some sparkle. Voila!

A simple button and twine combo for the corner and my heart with some red sparkles. Easy peasy today. Thanks for stopping by.

Love My English Rose

Good morning! Another fun filled Friday with Power Poppy's Bloom Brigade creations to share. We have all been coloring and having fun this week. Be sure to check out our current Power and Spark challenge Happy Mail
It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Leslie's work. Often I tell her oh I am going to try that, oh I like that, OH WOW I need to give that a shot and then I never do. Mostly because how does she do that or how do you top that when you see her work, right?!?! Well today is the day... I TRY! Gasp... I know right.  ;-)  Recently she had the coolest design using the digi My English Rose with a stars and stripes themed card. WOW!!! Its gorgeous and from the comments I know others loved it also. Anyways, I thought about giving it a try with a hearts and roses theme using the stamp My English Rose. So here it is...

Firstly I need to say that the digi would of been a lot wiser to use verses the actual stamp. The stamp worked, but I think the hearts would of been a lot easier to stamp on the larger petals. However this did work and I like how it turned out. So feminine and girlie don't you think?
The rose is stamped on white card stock and then I took the tiny hearts stamp from Small But Mighty Affirmations and using a black marker colored the tiny heart for the single ones you see. The three together is the actual stamp so they do fit perfectly. Maybe I should of left them white instead of red I don't know as I like them sort of blended in. Then a simple die cut to the corner with Love splashed in the corner. Matted this onto a pink Spellbinders die shaped base and a few pearls to finish it off. Voila!

All askew snowman

This months Dirty Dozen June Christmas challenge is All Askew. Hopefully you can play along with us this month and get more of those Christmas cards done. This one is for the kids pile that I am working on. He is from a retired Whiff Of Joy stamp collection. After he was colored I simply die cut him out using Lil Inkers dies.

Added a snowflake banner die cut in white paper for the corners and some old Bo Bunny cardstock for the background. A few blue rhinestones and some sparkle to finish if off. Voila! The kids will surely like this one come December. Thanks for stopping by to see me today!

Fly Guy

Happy Monday! We have a few days of triple digits here and it sure is hot! Makes for some good inside activities like coloring.  ;-)  This new release from Power Poppy is called Fly Guy. If you missed it yesterday we released 3 new digi's along with several sentiment to match each one. The Power Poppy Blog has all the details if you would like to check it out HERE

My pictures never seem to grasp the sparkle at times, but there is sparkle on the water. Basic design for this card yet colorful I think. I added a few brads to the corners and popped the sentiment up on dimensionals. This will be for my dad's birthday I think. He will appreciate the simplicity to this. Thanks for stopping by today. :-)

Moving on in life

Good morning. For most people I imagine this weekend is full of graduations and graduation parties, at least that is the case in our house. Our school colors are red, white and blue which is so cool. Two of the graduates this year are very special young men and we will miss them greatly.

These are simple graduation cards using Move the Soul for the background splashes on white card stock. I then die cut several ODBD Sparkling Stars for the center and added textures to the red star with the diamond plate embossing folder. On the white star I have printed each of the young men's favorite scripture that was placed in the year book. A simple congratulations on the edge and some brads to finish it off. Voila! Enjoy your weekend of fun!

Happy Friday! Power Poppy has some fun things in store for you today that you can read about in just a bit. I wanted to share my creation today using the wonderful Everything's Rosy image. Isn't this just so vibrant and cheerful? Yellow roses are my favorite but I wanted to add a splash of color with some red also for this creation. A simple spellbinders die for the frame and some green leafy designer paper for the background. Added my sentiment and some enamel dots for accents and the final touch with sparkle to the yellow roses. Voila!
