Thanks a melon

Good morning. We have some hot hot weather right now, like triple digits. EEK!!!  Needless to say the coach has the football practices super early in the morning or late at night to avoid the heat. We are gearing up for the football season and being that the boys are freshmen this year, its even more exciting. I know... Freshmen. EEK!!! They are pretty excited. Anyways... my card today is using an old retired set.

I stamped the watermelon on white cardstock and colored with various Copic markers. Some tightly wrapped gingham paper that was in the stack I am trying to use more of on cards.  A few brads scattered on the image panel and a button with twine to finish it off. Voila! I made this for a friend as we went to Applebee's and had the grilled watermelon shrimp salad and it was tasty!  ;-)  Enjoy your day!

Oh, yum! A friend brought that salad (homemade version) to my house for a potluck once. Loved it, just like I love your card! You're doing a good job with the designer paper. It looks perfect here. This is such a cute stamp set. When we look at the weather map we see that we are in a little pocket of cooler temps here on the coast. Above and below us and all around are in the 90's and triple digits. I sure hope we can hold onto our cooler weather!
