Candycane goodness

Good morning! Recently I saw this fun card with candy down the side on a panel and thought what a great flat rate mailer and super fun. Then I got to thinking about the MIM version for the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge and put my time to good use making some flat rate mailers with this idea. I stamped out these candy canes from Sweets of the Season onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink.
I colored all the candycanes on one and just the one on the other card using copic collections:

Once colored I cut two strips straight edge for my simple version and scalloped one edge for the MIM version. Added fairy dust for sparkle and two little red rhinestones for the MIM. Easy Peasy these were and look at the different? I almost like the simple version better... almost! :0)
Hope you get to play along as this month is sure to help with those last minute cards you need. I am working on more cards for the troops and a few SCS friends that give them out. If you play along use SCSCCNOV12 so we can find your creations on SCS!  Have a wonderful day!

Cute candy cane image. Think I prefer the one on the left, but they are both well done :)
