ODBDSLC190 Love each other

The new Shining the Light challenge #190 is up on the ODBD blog and it is all about non traditional colors for a Valentine card. That wasn't to hard I thought. However I tend to like blue a lot in my creations.  ;-)  I started with basic solid blue card stock and dry embossed the Beautiful Borders Die along the bottom. Added some scraps of designer paper and kraft to the edge. Tied off a wooden button and twine to add to the edge. My sentiment is from Bless Your Heart stamp set with an added jewel to the flourishes letter. Voila! Hope you get to play along with us today!

Oh, Stacy, what a beautiful CAS for this week's challenge! And I always love any shade of blue! I love how you've used the new beautiful borders die to emboss, along with the sweet piece of scrap with button and twine! Just love when we can use things like that. And the Scripture verse finishes it off perfectly! So glad you've supported us this week for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! It's a joy to have you, precious friend!

Clean, simple, wonderful! Would make a great masculine card, and, boy, do I ever need ideas for masculine cards.

What a stunning card Stacy! I just love the rich blue with the embossed border rather than cutting it out. I love that verse too and a wonderful reminder. Thanks for supporting the Shining the Light challenge sweet friend!
hugs,
Chris
