Glitter House Village

Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to Power Poppy's Christmas Re-Mix blog hop Day 9. We have a blog hop that is going from Nov 20th thru Dec 2nd. Another new digi, Black Friday Sale, Cyber Monday sale and even a small business sale, and did I mention a SURPRISE?

Appropriate to have a little grouping of houses today with Glitter House Village as most of us are celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends today. I don't have the snow or Christmas decorations up like this village but I do have the warm feeling this card does. Took a break from the gold shimmer paper for this one and had more of the green and red colors.

No need to worry if you don't have the stamp set. The digi version Glittery Village is available. My base has some textures with a snowflake embossing folder. A little scallop edge to the scrap of designer paper added to the base. Lot of sparkle added to the village and a few buttons to finish it off. Voila! Check back in tomorrow for a sale! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving day!

Check out the Bloomie and Instant Gardeners creations for today:

Pretty card. I have been in love with Marcella's artwork since she started Power Poppy. Where else are you going to find life like digital images. They are some of the best images to color with Copics.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Gorgeous card, this village is so cute. It reminds me of my childhood.
You ask why I love PP, most of all because of the stunning floral/botanical images, they are so beautiful and realistic.
Thank you for sharing your post today and have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Your card is great! Love the papers and the sentiment is perfect - one of the things I love about PP stamps are the sentiments that come with the realistic images. After I color them, I want to frame them not mail them haha!

Used this stamp for some of my
Christmas cards. I embossed
it in silver. My coloring is
not as good as yours - I took
the easy road. Beautiful
card. thanks for sharing

BEAUTIFUL!
LOVE your village and SPARKLE!
I LOVE the variety of Power Poppy design, especially the florals, they are so realistic and come in amazing combinations and designs! I am learning so much through Kit and Clowder classes and Power Poppy, first with Kindness Is The Way and currently doing the Taking Flight class using the Time To Fly image - WOW ... so much to learn and such amazing images that encourage me to keep on learning and stretching my limits :)

Floral images have always been my favorite to color, and Marcy/Power Poppy has the most realistic floral images with lots of guidance as to where to put the shadows/highlights. Love her images!

Your card is so adorable, Stacy! It's looks like a scrumptious gingerbread village, sparkling with a dusting of sugar! Soooo sweet!

I'm fairly new to Power Poppy and I LOVE the gorgeous designs! They are so detailed, yet easy enough to color and each one is so unique.

I am almost late to the party!! I thought I had already commented...but scrolling down I see I missed a few! Love your shimmering Christmas village, Stacy! You added some sweet details too!! Well,I have been following Marcy’s stamps before she ever started PowerPoppy and I have a lot from her previous stamps. . She is a true artist, not the norm in the stamping industry. Her images are detailed and capture the unique and sometimes quirky. She also has a lot of feminine qualities which I adore. Oh, and I am really blessed to be able to have some of her stamps to make unique and fun cards. Not to mention...the florals. Sigh.
