Sunflower playdate

Good morning! This weekend I was playing with sunflowers and snowmen and I had a great time. I think I really needed sometime to color and just pray for some friends while I created. Do you ever have times when you just come away and think wow, I feel great? Could just be me who knows... Well here is one of the first sunflowers I colored trying to get back into the swing if things. This is from In Praise Of Sunflowers stamp set. Marcy has a variety of sunflower digi's  in case you don't have the actual stamp set.

I took the large sunflower in the set and stamped it about 2 inches apart all across the bottom (length side) of a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and cut them partially and kept full image. This will make sense later when I show the others. Colored with various Copic markers and layered onto the base. One of the new to me embossing folders for the colored layer. My sentiment punched on a circle and some sparkle and enamel dots to finish it off. Voila!
See you back here tomorrow as I have the new Dirty Dozen Challenge with the snowman I mentioned I played with.  :-)  Have a great day!

Holy cow, you stamped and colored that many? I can't wait to see the others. Your coloring on this one is exquisite. Loving the shading on those petals. Hugs!

Oh how I love sunflowers! Beautifully coloured Stacy, love the depth of your shading on this, and all your layers. Sounds like you have been colouring up a storm. Off to see you next post! Keep well!

Wowzer! You did color up a storm, but I know what you mean about praying for friends when I'm coloring. I love that, and it's so relaxing too. Just love the depth of this flower (like Pauline mentioned). Amazing and beautiful with the embossing and the enamel dots. Love it, my friend! Hugs and love! xoxo
