Birthday Invites

Land ahoy! Isn't this little sail boat darling? One of the girls at DH work has been looking for invitations that were sailing/sailor design and hadn't found what she wanted and asked DH if I could make some. This is the one she liked from my samples I showed her. This sail boat is from the Sails, Subs and Tugs sets at Clear Dollar Stamps. I liked the port hole look on some cards I had made in the past so I incorporated that into the invitation. The water has a bit of sparkle on it and the inside has the birthday invite information. I sponged some clouds along the top panel and added some twine knots down the side.
On a personal note tomorrow is not going to be much fun. I get the bottom braces on and these ramps on the back two molars. Yep puree and liquid diet for the next 8-9 months. ugh...might be a little grumpy I warned the family. lol I am hoping for the best though and will keep you posted. Till then have a wonderful day!

These are the most fabulous nautical invitations EVER! So colorful and fun and ... well ... just wonderful! Your friend is very fortunate to have these wonderful invitations.

On another note, sending you all the best healing wishes. No fun at all, but the outcome will be worth the misery, I'm sure. Take care.

The invitation you designed is beautiful.. Great job

And good luck at the orthodontist tomorrow. I guess that means they are sort of wiring your mouth shut :(. Just make sure you eat a nice juicy steak or your favorite meal tonight since it will be your last of solid foods for a few months

Hugs
Debbie

The cards are adorable! Perfect for a boy :) Love the bright colours you used and the clouds are the prefect touch.

I'm trying to picture what they are going to be doing to you and what it will accomplish but not speaking "orthodontisee", I"m baffled and wondering why the extreme measures! You poor thing! Make sure you enjoy some of your favorite food tonite!! ((hugs)))

Oh what wonderful cards, Stacy! How lucky for your DH's co-worker to have you make these gorgeous invites for her.
About the braces.. I can't imagine a liquid diet for 9 months! You are brave!

I just love the port hole look around the adorable little ships, Stacy, and the colors you used are just perfect!!!! 8-9 months with purees food...yikes, girl!!! Sounds like you and your food processer will become great friends!!! The good part is that it will only last 8-9 months and then you can eat all the steak you want!!!!!
