Happy Friday! Today I have another journal that I altered from the local craft store. Just may have to keep this one as these blue flowers are calling my name. :-) You can see my Notebook Tutorial if you want to see how I altered this $1 notebook.
This is digital image Arranging Roses that I have rather large. I wanted the front of the journal to be mostly the image and not a lot of fluff, rather simple in design which is just what I like. The whole digital version of stamps has taken awhile for me to accept, as I do like the whole stamping process. However when you want to go bigger with an image this is the way to go. Digi's have found a place in my stamping room now, yea! Anyways.... Simply colored my image with Copic markers. Added a Spellbinders A2 Bracket Borders One edges and some sequins and sparkles for the final touch. Voila!

Wow, that is a digi? Beautiful journal Stace.
Beautiful! Stacy I must commend you for always thinking outside the box. I sometimes (well most times) have a hard time colouring flowers that aren't normally their true colours. Then I see what you create and love it. I need to broaden my horizons and choose different colours. Love your image and how you made it your cover of the notebook!
What a great journal! Love your design and colors!
Beautiful journal and what a beautiful image. I do not have any luck coloring digi stamps, the ink does not hold up for coloring.
Simply lovely, this Power Poppy digi is just amazing. The blue tones you picked really make this roses come alive, what a magnificent way to elevate this humble $1.00 note book.
Thank you for sharing the tutorial, Stacy.
Hugs.
Your blue roses are just gorgeous Stacy. Gorgeous colouring on them! And a great journal too.
Gorgeous colouring as always!

That's quite the transformation for a one dollar notebook! Gorgeous, Stacy!

Oh, Stacy, I totally love this pitcher of roses, and it's so beautiful in blue - of course - so beautifully colored! Just love the way you've layered in on gingham paper for a beautiful notebook cover! What a special journal! Hugs, my sweet friend!
