Go rock this day

Go Rock this day! Today is Friday and another fabulous new set we are showing you for the February release. Power Poppy has been sharing creations the last four days of the new sets and today it is Small But Mighty Affirmations. This sentiment set is so fun and encouraging! Marcy has some inspirations behind this set over on the Power Poppy Blog.

This sentiment was calling out to me. I have a few ideas with this sentiment alone. hee hee  Tosh did a fabulous job with a record shaped card that you can see HERE. I took inspiration from that and tried my own. her version is super cute! This is for a teen male, so it is pretty straight forward and not a lot of fluff.  ;-)  I did add some textures to the teal panel and a few small brads. This record designer paper was perfect for the background panel. My sentiment popped up in the center of the look a like record and voila!

Check out the Bloom Brigades creations today:

What a fab card for the male of the species! I always find cards for guys hard to do - this is a great idea! Love that background paper ;-)

Oh, Stacy, this is fabulous, and what a great idea to use the record for this sentiment - it was made for it! Love the record DP and the great embossed piece, and I know some special guy is going to love this and be encouraged by you! Hugs, sweet friend!

Perfect card for a boy! I remember Tosh's, too. I love this sentiment and can see using it a lot. I have some dies that will be perfect for it. Way to go, Stacy!
