I will admit these tulips have stolen my heart and I had to play with them again. I printed two sizes originally and used the smaller one earlier this week. The boys game was cancelled so I was able to play with this second one that is bit larger, for today's birthday card.  ;-)  One good thing coming from a cancelled game I guess.

Outside in my flower garden the yellow tulips are getting thicker each year but my lavendar ones are still pretty small and only like 3-4 blooms each year. I am wondering if they don't have enough room to spread out? To have all these lavendar ones on my card makes me smile big and makes me hopeful for the ones in the flower bed.
This Tulips in Hobnail Pitcher comes with two birthday sentiments and I used one on the card today. Added two fish tailed tags with vellum for the top left corner. Finished it off with a few enamel dots and no sparkles. Gasp!!! I know what is wrong with me, but I thought this one was good just like this. hee hee

Along with our birthday excitment over on the Power Poppy Blog, a few of the girls are playing in the CardMaps new set of sketches. Be sure to check out the PP blog for all the details. The new Power and Spark challenge is posted for you too. Lots of fun and excitement for you all.   I hope you have a fun filled weekend ahead of you. Have a wonderful day!

Stac, your lavender tulips are just perfect and I love hearing about your flower bed! It is far, far too hot where I live to grow tulips, so I can only imagine your garden! I wonder who is going to receive this gorgeous card - whoever it is, I'm sure they will LOVE IT!! :)

Oh, Stacy, your lavender tulips are GORGEOUS! I love your coloring - exquisite actually - and I love the fishtail banners both for the sentiment and the tag with the enamel dot. And, GASP, no sparkles, eh? Hehe! Well, I agree with you that this card doesn't need any! It's stunning just they way it is - I LOVE it! And I hope your lavender tulips push their way to make more room. We can't grow them here in South Florida, so I love seeing cards with them and really do love this digi too. Guess I need to print one up myself to color. Beautifully done, as always, sweet friend! And have a wonderful weekend! xoxo

It's absolutely gorgeous, Stacy! Some birthday girl is going to be very happy to see this. Outstanding coloring and beautiful design. Nice to have tulips of any color any time! The classic yellow and red tulips tend to last more years in the garden, whereas the fancy ones in other colors die out after not too long.
