October is cozy

It is October 1st  (or shortly it will be) and that means the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge is posted up and I hope you can play along this month. My creations is using Cozy Cupfuls.

I stamped this sweet cup with the tree on white card stock and colored with various Copic markers. I then die cut with a stitched die. The base is a few layers of card stock and designer paper. Before I added it to the base layer I did emboss with the matching stitched layers. Added my sentiment and an enamel dot. Topped it off with some sparkle and voila!

Have a wonderful day!

Fall hospitality thanks

Happy Friday! We sure have the fall weather right now and it is awesome! My creation today is using some tiny sunflowers. I send out thank you cards for all the parents who sign up for team dinners for the football team. As team mom I want them to know how much I appreciate them. This year they will all get the same card instead of a variety of design. Let's face it time is not on my side this year so I have to make do with one design. hee hee  Anyways...

This is using the stamp set Sunny Harvest, the perfect set for a fall card. My designer paper was te color inspiration. Stamped the image in a wreath format and then colored with various Copic markers. Some piercing down the edge of the designer paper. My sentiment with a pearl for the accent and a little sparkle. Voila

Birthday bucket

I promised you more of my sunflower cards I worked on last week and here is one of them. This is yet again a retired stamp from Heartfelt creations. This bucket is just so cute I think don't you? My image is colored with various Copic markers.

Simple design with just a little bit of swiss dots texture to the base top panel. Added a flourished die cut behind main panel. A few enamel dots and some sparkles. Voila!

Crabapple friend

Good morning. Played with Happy Crabapple and some coloring for my card. I stamped the branches and then also matched it up with the base layer but only colored the center panel.

Various Copic markers for the coloring. Added a thin black layer of designer paper before adding to the base panel. Sort of a take off my Friday card as I created these both the same day. Stamped my sentiment in the corner and added a few jewels. Voila! Hope you have a wonderful day.

Strong beautiful birthday

Friday it is and what a week. I have a few more sunflower cards to show you but those can wait will next week. I broke away from those to play and color Strong and Beautiful for my card today. Want to know something funny? My card fits the Creative Confetti challenge posted on the Power Poppy Blog and I didn't even know it. Ha ha!  It is called Over the Edge and my card is exactly that.

First I stamped the image on white cardstock and then determined how much of an edge I wanted for the left side. Then I cut around the edges and then colored with various Copic markers.
Embossed the base layer with swiss dots. Added a thin cut edge of black cardstock to match the sentiment circle and added to the card front base. A few sequence and voila!

Watercolor thank you

Morning. I figured I should try my hand at some water coloring again as it has been awhile. I pulled out Abundant Petals for my creation today. Stamped them in rose ink and water colored with the same ink.

Added some leaves with a bright green ink and should of used a darker ink. Good to know for next time. Added some various ink colored splatters and then die cut with a stitched rectangle. Some designer paper to the panel and then added to the base. I also added sparkle to just the outside edge of the petals, but it is hard to see in the photo. My sentiment and voila!

Franken cute

This adorable guy is called Frankie's Pet Bat. He is printed and colored with various Copic markers. A simple black backing for the image panel.

The background is a spider web that I drew and added the die cut fence to the bottom with the sentiment. Added a die cut arrow with a button accent. Super cut fella that my nephew will love. Have a great day.

Beautiful sunflower

Happy Friday. Remember I said I pulled out my sunflowers this week? Well here is my second one for you from In Praise of Sunflowers . Stamped on white cardstock and colored with various Copic markers. I then pierced around the edge of the image panel and stamped the sentiment.

Wrapped some ribbon and lace trim around the edge of the base designer panel and then added the image panel. Tied a bow and added some enamel dots. Voila!

Quick masculine cards

Two quick masculine birthday cards for you today. My birthday stash was empty once again and I need a few for the month.  My first one is using A Godly Man that was perfect for my designer paper. Simple piercing around the base layers for this one and my birthday sentiment across the edge.

This second one is using up some scraps of designer paper and scraps from the above card. So  twofer today. ha ha  Also did get to use "new to me" embossing folder of the elk head. I know this will be used a lot in my family cards so I finally broke down and bought it.

Two for the price of one with using scraps today, not to shabby.  :-)  Thanks for stopping by.

Sunflower birthday's

Good morning. Dug out a few of my sunflower stamps this last week and made a few creations. This one is from Heartfelt Creations and I do believe it is retired. Some of the image is trimmed off from the circle die cut as I layered a base with scallops.

The base has some added faux stitching to the edge along with sheer ribbon and twine wrapped around the top. Colored with various Copic markers and added to the base. Tie off a heart wood button and my birthday sentiment. Voila!

Birthday Big bloom

Happy Friday! Today is the boys first game of the season for football! We are excited as it is against the town rival. Wish us a win tonight!
My card today is using the beautiful big bloom called Chrysanthemum XL stamp. Still trying to work on my red coloring attempts.  :-)

This is a large blossom but I did trim it down a bit with the die cut to fit the front and show some designer paper behind. A few enamel dots and a little bit of sparkle. Voila!

Cheers to a lovely friend

Good morning! I pulled out My English Rose last week and created a few card with it. This is another one that I had made and I really like how it turned out. Marcy sure does know how to draw florals doesn't she. Aaaahhhhhh.

A scrap piece of white paper from another project was sitting on the desk so I used that for the main panel. Stamped the rose a few times in a row and cut to fit the card front. Colored with various Copic markers and then added a red layer to the side panel. Attached to the card base and then my sentiment with a fish tail end. A few scattered sequins and voila! Have a wonderful day.

Hanging by the needles

Welcome to the Dirty Dozen September Christmas challenge. This months challenge can be found HERE. Hope you can play along.
How about some Wreaths Plain and Fancy today for my card. Lots of distressing on the edges as you can see. Gives it that warm country feel I think along with the Prisma colored pencils I used to color with.

Just a simple little button with some twine wrapped around the end panel. Then added some sparkle to finish it off. Voila! Check out the challenge and play along. Have a great day.
