Eat well, laugh often, love much

Happy Monday! All my errands are done, house is half way cleaned and now I am getting to play. YEA!  Last week the boys and I went to the local country mercantile looking for a few gift ideas for some friends of mine. There was so many new things from jarred goodies, candies and packaged food I thought I was going to be there all day. However I found exactly what I was hoping to find! These awesome little spice packets are perfect. The only thing is they looked rather drab so I spruced it up a little with papers, ink and ribbon.
First I stamped the tomatoes from Italian Garden onto classic white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.

Colored them with copic collections:

After I cut the tomatoes out I added dimensionals to the back and set them aside. Grabbed some of our Color Made Easy Poppy cardstock and made a belly band around the seasoning packet. Before I secured it I added a scalloped edge using the Color Made Easy Pistachio cardstock.

Die cut some classic white cardstock using Perfectly Pierced Classic Window die and sponged some soft green color before I removed the die and adhered it to the center of the belly band. Wrapped my gingham ribbon around and secured into a bow. Added the tomatoes and some stickles on the leaves. A simple white crystal heart and voila! The red half circle is to cover where I took the silly tag off the top. However works great for pulling out the seasoning packet from the belly band. YEA!!!  Hope you are enjoying your day.

Those look like some really yummy tomatoes :) Love the strip of gingham ribbon and the great shape you used for the focal image.
