Free for All Friday with Border
WOW Flourishes Fans! Can you believe we’re at 50% in our Gambler’s Sale?! It’s getting so exciting for bargain hunters! On Monday our last discount goes up to 60% off.

Most of the time camping is cold at least when I have been camping. I like this stamp set called  In Nature. This set works for some quick and easy guy cards I think. I stamped the image onto Classic Kraft card stock and embossed with white embossing powder. After it was embossed I dry embossed the frame using Perfectly Pierced Classic Window. Here is a tutorial on how to Dry Embossed Frame.
The image is colored with Copic Collections:

Added some Color Made Easy Tonal Neutral Ribbon and a few Candi Dots. See camping in the warm... well on paper at least! HA!
To spark your creative wish list we have some lovely and delightful creations from the Design Team to show off to you again today:

On a personal note: Many of you have read some of the changes that have been happening with me and my family. One of the biggest changes was a new school for the boys, as we had been at our previous school for 5 years. Friendships and a family environment was our comfort at this school and a change was going to be very hard. We knew a change needed to be made and God was directing their path to another place. I am happy to say that they are doing wonderful and seem to be in a routine and more settled after the first few months. There is a saying that when God closes one door he opens a new door. Sometimes you have to accept the doors he closes, especially when it is not the door you expect him to close.

Another change for me personally was with Flourishes. In June 2010 Jan Marie and Julie gave me the opportunity to run the Wholesale side of Flourishes. I can’t thank them enough for the opportunity of running wholesale and working with an incredible company. Julie was more than helpful and gracious to me as I learned the day in and out’s of Flourishes. Wholesale grew to an amazing number of retailers who were carrying the beautiful Flourishes line of stamps.

As of December 2013 the wholesale section of Flourishes was closed and I stepped down from the design team. I let Jan Marie know that I would stay through February and help with the sale through the end of the month. This was a hard decision to make as I have been on the team since 2009. This is a bunch of very talented ladies and some wonderful friendships have formed. Flourishes is moving into some new directions as most of you can see and that is wonderful news for them. I wish them all the best in the future.

As I said above God will close doors and some of them you don’t expect to be closed. His blessing always far exceeds what you planned or thought possible. Does this mean I will not work with the beautiful stamps I have? Are you kidding! I have 5 bins of stamps for crying out loud. Marcy is beyond amazing with her designs and who can resist that, right? :-)  I am trying to plan a post of my favorite Flourishes creations for later this week, however we will see if I have time to look through them all. HA!! I appreciate you reading through all this and everyone who has said a prayer for me and my family. Have a wonderful day.

Hey beautiful lady! :)

First awesome work with this Kraft paper...I love the warmth, the embossed shape...it’s so cozy feeling.

And you are precious to me. I know this fall meant a lot of adjustment and challenge for your family. I’m so grateful you are seeing the fruit beginning to come from your decisions.

And ..onward and upward friend! These years working together have given us something so precious...I am incredibly blessed to call you friend.

Was wondering what was up when you made reference on a few blog posts. Transition and change is hard...we've had many this past year as well with the hardest being leaving our church of 13 years...lots behind that decision, and the transition still hurts at times but it was the right move. Praying God's peace and joy will fill your heart as you obediently follow His leading ((hugs))!!

Super cool card. It almost looks like leather. I love embossing white on kraft - so stunning!!! Really nice card!!

With this card you've shown how beautiful a masculine card can be. I'm glad everything is working out for the boys. I know you are a very loving and supportive mom and that always helps. I still feel sad about Flourishes, but it remains to be seen what happens on that front. There is always something new on the horizon.

A beautiful card and something new for me to try, thank you so much for the inspiration. I too am sorry to see Flourishes leaving as I have been and follower and buyer for many years and hate to see one of my favorite stamps leave. They have the bestest (I know grammar is wrong), but that the way I feel. I will continue to follow the blogs to see what is new. Thanks Stacy for your inspiration.
