FS295 Merry and Bright

This weeks Featured stamper is Vicki and VDM. Beautiful gallery with lots of Christmas creations and I just had to go with Christmas, it was calling me. hee hee   This is my case of Vicki's Christmas in June creation. I kept the simplicity with all the white space, a poinsettia image and a Christmas card. Changed the colors and stamp. Hope you can play along this week!
I stamped out my Poinsettia and Pine from Flourishes onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Several copic collections were used in coloring this flower:

After I layered the flower onto some green galore cardstock, I added my pearls to the corner and sentiment with an added pink satin ribbon that has a finishing touches silver ribbon slider. Voila!  Thanks for stopping in today!

Fall decorations

Hi all and happy Friday! We have a fun treat for you today! Since Autumn was officially ushered in less than a week ago, we decided to pick up one of Flourishes' sets that honors the season! We're talking about the set Falling Leaves. Before I get to my creations....
Flourishes is having a..... Need to stock up on decorative paper? Well, now is your time! All decorative paper in the Flourishes store has been marked down a whopping 25%! No codes needed, the price has already been marked down. So, hit the store and stock up! We have some beautiful papers with shades of autumn, Christmas papers, plus some oldies but goodies as well! Click HERE to see! This sale will take place for 48 hours -- FRIDAY and SATURDAY ONLY! So, head on over before some of your favorite papers are gone! ;-)
Now for my creations. The leaves in this set are super cool and fun to color. Two simple creations for you today. First up is a CAS card. I took my favorite leaf in the set and stamped it along the bottom part of my card. I am using the beautiful Color Made Easy Sunflower collection paper and the ribbon in the collectio antique gold.
The leaves are colored using a few copic collections:

Once colored I added some of the beautiful white cotton lace trim and added a finishing touches antique copper ribbon slider to finish it off. For my second creation I had some fun. Decorating the table for holiday's usually means we have a few tables with the large group we have. The kids table is sometimes left pretty bland in decorations since the little ones are not as careful with things.

This year I thought it would be fun to have some little touches for them too. I took our Tailor made classic keyhole die and made a toosie roll holder and napkin holder. For the tootsie roll holder I punched out the die using a piece of the Color Made Easy Terra Cotta collection since the one has some fun textures to it. Once I punched it out I scored a little 1/4 inch section in the middle so that it will stand up right. The extra label punched out made for a great flap to close it up, with some gold metallic cord for a bow. My sentiment is from the set A Season of Thanks that I places on the front with some gold brads. For the silverware and napkin again punched out the label and simply folder it in half and closed with the label for a flap.
My leaves are from Falling Leaves that I colored using the same copic collections above. Once they were colored I simply cut them out and popped them up on dimensionals over the flap. Added a brad and some matching gold mettalic string with a bit of fairy dust added and voila. The kids will have a fun decoration and this way if it gets torn or ruined not a lot of work will be destroyed.  ha!

Parker Frame

Happy Wednesday! Today I will share another gift that I made for my SIL and her new hubby. Yep another gift and another creation with the gorgeous Letters in Blossom set from Flourishes. I wasn't kidding when I said that I love this set. ha! Pictures of large items are so hard for me and I do apologize however I did get a close up for you below. I stamped out my letters onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. I colored the letters using copic collections:

I have some kaiser rhinestones about the background and for the corners the beautiful nestabling classy corner grace. Added a few of the Pat prima's I have in my stash and voila.

Here is a closer picture. I know they are going to love this! I think it turned out really elegant.
Thanks for stopping in with me today. Have a great day!

FS294 Wild and Wonderful

The weekend's just go by way to fast anymore... hopefully you are having a great weekend. This weeks Featured Stamper 294 is Jackie aka westie2  with a beautiful gallery full of creations. I choose this masculine card for dad to case. I kept the over all layout just made mine a bit larger, kept the colors, a button and masculine theme. Changed the stamp and size.
This fun stamp is from Flourishes called Cowboy Christmas. I stamped the horseshoe onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. My image is colored using copic collections:

Jackies card had a button and twine combo so with keeping a button I pulled out a felt one that I have had and never seem to use. This fits the Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge this month to use felt of some kind on your creation. Anyone can play along with us, just use the keywords SCSCCSEP12 when you load to SCS. Two challenges in one creation today, whohoo! Hope you can play along in either challenge. Have a wonderful day.

Birthday Fishing

Yes another birthday card today. This is a fun birthday card using Gone Fishin from Sweet n Sassy Stamps that I got a few weeks ago. Do you see a trend right now with my stamps? I don't always get to use them when they come in the mail, but I do eventually use them. ha!
This guy was stamped out onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored with color combo from CR84FN blog challenge 63, here is a snippet of the colors.
Just a few brads and some piercing for detail. The little tags along the side were just for fun. I like the simplicity of this and for a guy card that is just about perfect. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Photo Finish birthday

The boys had a birthday party this weekend and the boy loves cars. They wanted me to keep after I made it, ha! The adorable Henry's Racecar from Whiff of Joy was perfect for this birthday party. Stamped out the racecar onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. Colored with copic markers then cut out and popped up on dimensionals. My film strip was made using the Silhouette cameo machine . This machine has a ton of files you can purchase and use over and over. I really do love this machine. My flags and sentiment are from At the Races from Clear Dollar Stamps. A few brads and voila a Photo Finish Birthday card! Have a fabulous day!

FS293 Perfect will of God

This weeks Featured Stamper FS293 is Tricia. Tricia is such a sweet person and talented crafter, I was more than happy to case her to celebrate her week as FS. I choose her Perfect Will of God creation.
I kept the layout, scripture Romans 12:2 and design. I changed the colors and ribbon and added some rosets that Pat made me and some flourished pearls. This is another scripture for the stand I made for the boys teacher. I actually am going to make two of these stands. So I have lots of work to get done since I didn't work on it much this summer. EEK! Thanks for stopping in today!

Cowboy Christmas

Today is day 4 of Flourishes September new release and if you have missed the last few days, head back through them over on the FLLC Blog. This months sets are FABULOUS! Today we are showing off the wonderful Cowboy Christmas set. OH MY!!! First my sister is going to flip when she sees this set and already will have a list of cards she needs and for who. ha! Okay enough babbling onto my creation today.
I stamped out the hat image in Cowboy Christmas onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink twice as I will pop up the hat itself later. My image is colored using copic collections:

After I colored the extra hat I then cut it out and popped it up on dimensionals. My frame for the card is using Spellbinder romantic rectangles that I layered up on dimensionals as well. My ribbon is using the beautiful black faux suede ruffled edge that I tied off my sentiment using our Tailor made classic tags. Tied it off with some metalic silver string. The fun candi in saville row seemed to fit this card perfect and added some of those. I love how this turned out. Enjoy checking out the creations from the Design Team today:
