Climbing Clematis for a friend

Friday it is and the last day of July. I can't even believe this summer let alone year, but I won't dive into that mood right now.  ;-)  How about some Climbing Clematis today?  This happens to be on sale right now so check it out. These are such pretty flowers and so much enjoyment to color them. Been feeling in a slump lately so I am happy to finally pull out of it a little with these guys.

Pretty straight forward with this card. Colored the image with various Copic markers and added a die cut edge to the bottom of the panel. I then added another layer of white card stock to the base and some texture to the majority of the panel. Wrapped some colored twine around that layer and added to the base of the card. Finished off with my sentiment some sequins and sparkle. Voila!

Off the hook

Morning. Dusted off an old set that is no longer available for this card today. It is for a special person and I miss them greatly. Very easy design since I am feeling rather rusty lately.

Colored the image with Copic markers and added a stitched die cut for the shape. My designer paper was the inspiration for the colors with a touch of pink. I can always color with blue hues for anything. hee hee  Added a button and some twine for the accent on the sentiment. Voila! Hope you have a wonderful week.

Juicy Berries

Happy Friday! These Juicy Strawberries were in the bin that I have colored long ago and I just never finished a card with them.  This turned out summery and cute I think and since it was already colored easy to put together.

A simple layer of the berries panel on some banana card stock. Then layered onto a die cut piece and some designer paper down the edge. Embossed the base layer and wrapped some twine. My sentiment from Go Wild and then some sparkles to finish it off. Voila!

Just for the girls today

How about some for the girls today? One of my favorite sets for the girls is retired but I still have the set used to be called Glamour Girls. A friend needed a few so I knew she was coming out. My first one was inspired by the designer paper that I got and finally am using. It is so soft, pretty and girlie I think. Used the fancy image in the set and colored her with copics. A stitched rectangle die and some layers of ribbon and lace trim. Sparkle on the hat to finish her off.

Next up is the more teen fun like colors with black and yellow polka dots. She is so FUN! Adored this set from day one I tell you what. Added some scallops and lace trim along the side of this one. A few primas that my sweet friend Pat made me long ago. Yep still have some and using them only for special cards.

Next is with the same girl but red and black with a few punched flowers added to this one. This sentiment is perfect and I added some fancy ribbon lace that I have had forever to the die cut edge.

I think all three turned out great considering I feel rather rusty at creating lately and coloring. Well off to do some more creations. Thanks for stopping by.  ;-)

Sports shirts

Happy day today. :-)  My cards today are for the sports men in our lives using the dies I was playing with. My first one is one that I could see going either way out in the weeds or to a picnic with friends. I like the gingham paper from the paper pack Menswear Material collection. This is a versatile card for sure.

Next up is the one for the avid hunter or fisher I think. Is that zipper not totally adorable? The die even has a smaller one to put on the pockets if you want. Oh my goodness totally fun and so cute! Just loving this die set for sure. Went ahead and just added buttons to the base shirt without the extra layer. The paper on this one is from the Cool and Casual paper pack. All supplies from Divinity Designs.

Almost done with my latest card request which is good news.
Don't forget about my Stamps For Sale. Still have a few left check it out HERE. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Gamer birthday

I bought this digital image I don't know how long ago and finally am using it. He is called Game On and he sure is perfect for a guy birthday we have coming up. He is printed on kraft cardstock and colored with Prisma colored pencils.

Pierced around the edge for the image panel then layered on to the designer paper and the embossed red base layer. A few die cut banners and stars for accents. Finished with the birthday sentiment. Voila!

Kind Friday

Happy Friday! Figured I should pull out my Poppies stamp set since it has been awhile. This happens to be on sale too if you haven't gotten the set yet. Stamped the flowers and colored with various Copic markers. Then I delicately cut around the leaves and petals. I forgot how much tiny cutting this particular image has but too late I had already started.

When it was all cut out I added Dimensionals to the back to pop it up off the gingham base layer. A decorative die base and my sentiment. A few enamel dots from the bin and sparkle. Voila!

Check out the design teams creations today too:

Casual guy shirts

Morning. Two more fun guy shirts from the new dies and papers. I think this die is so FUN! The tiny buttons are a little tricky but they sure do add that real touch to them. So many different ideas with this die collection that I know will be used quite often to be honest.
The tiny pockets are just adorable aren't they?

Next up is my Guy Fieri shirt as the boys called it with the flaming designer paper. ha! I think this turned out so cool.

Two more card requests from a friend of mine that I need to get started on. The other two cards for the sportsman cards I made I will share next week. Hope you have a great day. Thanks for stopping by.

Sharp dressing men

Good morning! This weekend was fun as I got to hang out with my favorite men in the house. With the twins getting jobs (ACK, yes they both work and are taking summer classes) so time with them is starting to get sparse. John and I appreciate what time we get as it is starting to twindle away each year. The one positive, as I have said before from the Covid/stay at home we truly cherish  the time with these guys. I have missed posting the last few weeks and seeing what everyone has been up to. Working on catching up this week with everyone. You didn't come to hear me squak.... So how about some sharp dressed men cards?  :-)
My new dies and papers were so fun to dig into and making masculine cards is always FUN! These dies are from Divinity Designs Couture collection with a few more to go with the main die.

We will go with the dressy ones today. This is a fancy suit with the white and blue jacket I think. The textures paper was perfect for my dad's birthday card coming up. hee hee  I can see lots of wedding cards with this die suit vest and some graduation cards next year.

Next up I will show you the way you should NOT wear a vest. Oh my goodness... I totally had so much trouble with these and I couldn't figure out what the deal was. Well it is because the vest is on the wrong way. I'm hoping that not many will notice it to be honest since it took me a bit to get these things together. The paper is new also for these both of these cards.

I had to do a white and blue combo again since I think it looks sharp together. They still don't look too bad with the vests wrong, right? I have it correct now so when I make more they will be ones not found at the outlet malls. ha ha!

I will share the others with you on Wednesday. Need to get some snacks made for this week for the working crew now.  :-)  Oh to be needed even when they have jobs is such a warm feeling. Hope you are all doing well.

Beckham Wednesday

Good morning! It has been awhile since I posted last. This month or should I say June was a long month. Mostly due to graduation for the boys and what we did get for a "graduation" ceremony. It was very special and sweet considering the Covid phase we are still battling in Washington state. Needless to say I am ready to get back into the stamp room this weekend. And looking at my card below you will see why I need to get some mojo going. :-)
This is for the July Dirty Dozen Christmas challenge for the month. You can check it out here and play along with us.

This is quick using Beckham from Whipper Snapper. he is lightly colored with Copic markers. I aded a few die cute to the edge with some sparkles and silver cord. My new designer paper that I got a few weeks ago is the base. Voila!
