Birthday blue bloom

Good morning or I hope it is good for you. First week of school cancelled, it has been interesting. Between the boys 2 school's, John and myself both working from home it has been fun. Trying to keep things positive, go for a walk each day at lunch, keeping the workout routine at home going since the gym is closed. Making sure we all try to keep as much to the normal day to day routine as possible so we don't go nuts. Overall we are hanging in there. Sure hope you are doing okay with all this.  Anyways you didn't come to hear about that.
Some exciting news is Power Poppy's Sale going on! Check out all the details HERE and on the PP Blog. Be sure to snatch up those sets you have been waiting to buy or even the ones that will be retiring. Gasp I know... but you have to make room for the new goodies this year.

My creations today I had to show the other one I created using Simply Camellias stamp set. One of my favorite cards. Not only because of the blue hues but the designer paper I used is perfect shades of blues and black. It was a pack from Authentic that I bought last year and only used once so far. Gasp! Time to get using that pack more often.

Colored the bloom to match the designer paper hues and then added a few circle die cut layers. A scallop edge to add along the designer paper edge. Assembled all the layers and added my sentiment and an enamel dot. Some sparkle on the water and voila! I love how this turned out.

Stacy, I adore this card the first time I saw it. I have a weakness for soft blues and should use them more, like this one.

Stacy you paired this little piece of designer paper expertly with this beautiful little bloom. It’s so lovely!

I know how you love the blues and this is gorgeous head to toe! I'm glad you and John are able to work from home. You're some of the fortunate ones. Since Rich and I are retired it's easy for us. We still see friends outside from a safe distance. No cases in our county yet, but it will get here eventually.
