Friendship hives

Happy Monday. We made it through graduation and all the parties this weekend. What a great group of kids this year, sure going to miss them all. In visiting with everyone I came to the conclusion that next years class is going to be the hardest other than when the boys graduate. They are pretty tight with this class since they have been with them since 6th grade. EEK. I guess that is just part of life.   Anyways... onto my card today.

Bee Kind Toile stamp set was calling my name. Not sure this turned out quite like I wanted but I was just happy to get some stamping time in lately. The flowers are stamped on the white base for a background. I die cut the Spellbinders frame like I usually do but cut the bottom off and not doing that again. I like the full frame of the die cut for the base. Live and learn right.  :-)  Added some crochet ribbon between the layers and my sentiment on vellum with some pearl accents. Voila!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Such a lovely card, Stacy!! I wouldn't have thought to do this with all the framing, but it certainly does do that image justice...and I adore all your pearls and pretty toile background! Graduation is so hard on Mamas...such a sentimental time for sure!! Big hugs!

Stacy this is so pretty! I love the flowers stamped in the background and the lovely spellbinder die you used. The sentiment stamped on vellum gives it that nice and airy feeling - love vellum. I just received my new sets on Friday but haven't had a chance to play with them yet. TFS!

This stamp set makes the most beautiful toile. I love every inch of your card, including the cut off base. A new twist. I like how you layered the dies, too. I finally have a card in the works with one of my new PP sets. Hard to stay inside long enough in this beautiful weather, though. I understand about graduation. You get so close to all the kids.

Oh, Stacy, this is such a sweet set, and I love how we can make a toile background like you have! And I think the cut-off die is perfect! I know that this is a delicate die, so it makes it far more stable. I love the sentiment on vellum too! Yes, it's hard as the boys see the older ones they've become so close with graduate, but it is all part of life. And I know that they will continue to grow and mature as wonderful young men who love the Lord! It's hard for you as a mom too, but I'm praying for you! Hugs and love! xoxo
