Gift for Ann

Morning, finally completed a birthday gift for my best friend Ann. When I saw this wood pallet like piece at the store I knew I wanted to give my hand at stenciling and adding some blooms. This statement was perfect as I made my first attempt. Mind you I need more work but I think it turned out great.

The awesome blooms are from Abundant Petals and the matching dies. Yes I could of cut them all out but why when I have the dies. ha ha  Plus their is a LOT of blooms here. Each bloom is individual and popped up on dimensionals. Added lots of sparkle to them all that I tried to capture with the outside light but not so much. Hand delivered and she LOVED it!

Here is a close up of the bottom flowers. One thing that does come to mind after this project and that is I need to take a class on how to arrange flowers. Not only for real flowers but the paper variety as well. hee hee  With my some what inexperience I think I did okay for the first round. Now I have another idea to get started on with the stenciling. Squeel... like I need another new hobby. HA!  Thanks for stopping by today.

WOW! Stacy, first of all, you don't need any help with flower arranging. Your flowers are beautifully grouped, and what stunning coloring! What a special gift for Ann, and I am so glad you LOVED it. Of course she would! This is so beautiful, and I love your stenciling. So stencil on, sweet friend! You rock at it! Hugs and love! xoxo

Oh, my goodness, Stacy! I know you made Ann's day amazing with this beautiful gift! I love anything rustic, and flowers on wood -- my favorite! Stenciling is not as easy as one might think. I've always made a mess of it, but this looks perfect. Your coloring and flower arranging is awe inspiring. Lessons? You don't need no stinkin' lessons. Sounds fun, though. Yes, just what you need... another hobby. Sheesh, where's the time? You did a fantastic job with this!
