Kindness notecard

Happy Friday! I don't know about you but we have triple digit heat here and it stinks. Ugh... However the good news with that means I get to stay inside and stamp. :-) Just a quick notecard today with our free download Kindness is the Way digi. We had a full 5 days of fun new digital images from Marcy in case you missed it. All the links and info are on the Power Poppy blog if you want to check it out.

Super easy peasy today. These blooms are colored with Copic markers and then layered onto more white card stock. I added some textured with swiss dots to the base layer. You can't see it in the picture but I did add some suduko gel pen highlights to the petals for a shimmer look. I like how this turned out simple and sweet.

Gifts From The Sea

Did you see the new digital releases from Power Poppy? We have been sharing creations the last few days. Check it out if you missed and see what all the fun is about. Today is the new Gifts From the Sea image and OH MY! I pictured this in soft blue-greens and yellows first thing.

This is colored with several Copic markers and scored around the edges as I tend to do. A scallop like edge between the designer papers. Obviously I had a mind set of some decorative edge with all these cards?!? Silly me. Some sparkle added to the shells and a few enamel dots in the corner. Voila!

Check out the Power Poppy Blog for a list of all the creative designs today! Happy Stamping.

Good morning! Power Poppy is at it again today with the new Take a Deep Breath digital image. If you missed the last few days check out the Power Poppy Blog for details and links to all the new digital images and creations from the designers. You don't want to miss a thing!

Take a Deep Breath is so much fun to color I have to admit. That big green leaf just says hello and relax. For this digi I goggled to see what colors these flowers can come in as I picture a pink color mostly but the lavendar colors came to the screen and I knew that was it for me. Oh I do like how this turned out. I added some sparkles to the water and just a few sequins for accents. Voila.

Don't forget to check out the Power Poppy Blog for all the creative creations being shown today!

Pretty straight forward today as you can see. My flowers are colored with Copic markers and then simple added notebook die cut edge. My flowers do have sparkle added to them and a few enamel hexagons I found in a drawer. Amazing what you can find by accident. Means I don't need anymore stuff. ha ha  I like all the colors this has, just makes me smile.

Kindness Free Digi at Power Poppy

Good morning and welcome to another Digital Blitz from the every so talented Marcy! Today we have a few FREE digital images for you to download and play with called Kindness is the way. Not only free, but Kit and Clowder has a free online coloring using these images. GASP!!! I know right.... Please check out the Power Poppy Blog for all the details, links and more info on the next few days of digital images. Woot Woot!!!

I ADORE this new Kindness is the way.  I printed on the kraft cardstock so I was able to color with my Prisma colored pencils out on the desk. This was printed to fit the front of a standard card yet I wanted to only use portions for this card. A polka dot designer paper to go behind just a tad of the flowers. Wrapped twine around the base and a button to bring out the soft blue on the petals. Stamped between the flowers a few sentiments from Party Time and then added sparkles to the purple flower. Also added pencil to the sentiment panel. Voila!

Please check out the Power Poppy Blog for a listing of all the creative creations being shown today. Along with details of the coming days. So exciting! Have a wonderful day.

Fly Agaric

What is that you say? Fly Agaric? Well it is a Wild Mushroom of course. ha ha  Would of never known this name, but leave it to the talented Marcy to draw up some beautiful stamps of Wild Mushrooms for me to play with. Aaaaahhhh... This is a FABULOUS stamp set. If you have not see it yet check out the PP Gallery HERE or HERE for more inspiration with these mushrooms. Oh don't forget she has matching Dies to go with the set if you must and YOU MUST!  :-)

My mushrooms are colored with various Copic markers. Then die with a standard circle that is popped up on dimensionals to the pennant die cut. Some polka dot designer paper added to the base and the some ribbon tied around the top. A few jewels and a button center to finish it off. Voila!

Very mice day

Morning. I really just wanted to sit and color this weekend and honestly not much of that happened. Yet I do feel like I had a little time in the stamp room which was great. I tried to find this one on the Stampendous site that now carry's the House Mouse stamps but I do not see it. So maybe retired from House Mouse entirely? Glad I have this one its one of my favorites still. When I was on the site I saw several that are new and I need to get. :-)  Does it ever end?? hee hee

This is pretty straight forward with just a little bit of gingham for the bottom half of the card. I pierced an edging around the base panel and my image popped up on dimensionals. Yes my sentiment is a little crooked because I didn't think to stamp the sentiment before I added everything to the base. Sheessshhh.. Oh well hopefully you notice the fat chubby mice and ignore the crooked sentiment. hee hee  Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.

Embossed Petals for Mr and Mrs

Good morning. My card today was a last minute card for a wedding. I thought I had one in my stash and well I did not.  Sheeesh... Nothing like waiting until the last minute. It didn't quite turn out like I pictured but I didn't have time make another one.

These blooms are from Abundant Petals that I embossed with silver powder. Once they were colored with various Copic markers I die cut them with the matching Abundant Petals Dies. My base is white on white with a lattice die cut adhered to the base. Then popped up my die cut blooms and then a few pearls and voila!

Courageous, resilient and amazing

Good morning. I was trying for a warm more masculine feel with this card using Big Sexy Leaves. Not quite sure it came out like I pictured in my head but I do like how it turned out. I stamped the background using a green ink and then popped out the one larger leaf that I colored with Copic markers.

This sentiment is from M Powering Words and a simple piercing around the edge to match the base that is pierced around. A few sequins and voila! Have a great day!

Abundant Poppies

Morning. Last week I had issues with stamping and sometimes when that happens you just have to go with keeping it simple and sweet and that seemed to work as I like how this turned out.

Perfect Poppies is what you see here and the sentiment was another one of those tricks that my son showed me last week.  hee hee  Now if I can figure out a few other little tricks I might do something different, but for now you are stuck with this one trick. ha ha  Anyways... this is colored with Copic markers and added to the black base. A few jewels for accents and voila. Crisp, clean and I think rather pretty. Thanks for stopping by today!

Mistle toe kisses

Welcome to the Dirty Dozen July Christmas challenge. We are half way through the year if you an believe it. Hopefully you have been working on those cards for the year. This months challenge was easy and I knew what I planned on using for my first card. Check out the DD forum and play along.

It has been awhile since I colored up these guys and I really need to get back into coloring them. These mice are colored with Copic markers and then die cut with a standard circle die. Some mistletoe designer paper added to a layer of maroon that I die cut the edge with a retired heart die. Some mistletoe texture to the green base and some sequins and sparkles tie it all together. Voila!
