In Nature

Welcome to Day Two of Flourishes June Releases! We're thrilled to show off more nature-inspired offerings for you today. One of the things that makes summer so special are those tranquil moments spent in the outdoors. Think of those peaceful places of recreation or solitude away from the hectic schedule, celebrating the beauty and restoring power that nature has. Today we bring you...
You can feel the solitude in this beautiful and earthy set penned by Lauren Pope. Whether it's catching the great outdoors by canoe, or sitting by the lake front cabin, this set delivers a serene dose of nature. This 4 by 6" set offers two main images plus three beautifully scripted sentiments. Images are great for nature lovers or even for the men in your life!

My creation today feels almost like cheating when it comes to stamping. hee hee  It was pretty easy since I let the designer paper do most of the work for me. This is one of the sheets in the 1,2,3 create kit today called Trail Mix. There is a perfect spot for a sentiment already framed up for me. The faux  stitching around the sentiment panel was perfect, so I went ahead and added a faux stitched border to tie it together.
The paper has some foilage already designed into the paper, however I added one of the images stamped in forest green ink to tie in the foilage already on the paper. Then some of the ribbon and twine tied off with a wooden button from the kit. Voila! Maybe took 10 mintues to create.
For my second card today I created an easy peasy masculine card. I stamped my image onto classic white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink.
Colored with copic collections:

Once colored simply matted onto some Color Made Easy Emerald Coast paper and layered onto my card base. Some faux stitching around the edges on this card as well. Tied off my Color made Easy Terra Cotta Japonica ribbon with a celery button and voila!
We'll have some beautiful creations to show you with the In Nature set, so take a trip on over to visit the Design Team today to see them, and don't forget about today's… Mystery Blogger Graphic

Great versatility in using the stamps. I love how you have used the patterned paper and stamped outline on the first. Lovely colouring on the second.

While your coloring on card 2 is stunning and is a perfect match to that fun plaid paper -- the first card is wow! I love how you used the decorative paper to let that image flow peacefully in the background -- way fun!

Both cards look so different and so amazing. I like how the sentiment takes center stage on the first card and your use of masculine patterned paper on the second. :)

I love them both, Stacy. But I think my favorite is the second one. Love the dp you've paired with this second stamp set. Wonderful cards!

Fabulous job with this stamp set, Stacy! I really love how you simply stamped the green outline in the first card. It enhances the designer paper and makes a nice background for the sentiment.

Great cards and you are right! Those papers go fabulously well with this stamp set..like they were made for each other :)

Both cards can be used as masculine cards that are so hard to make. Like muted colors on the first card and the plaid paper on the second.
