Now for the preview of today's new sets are called Through the Woods and Snuggle Down

Oh  my goodness both of these are fantastic and they can be inter-mixed with such easy! Let me start with the first one from Through the Woods. Colored with Copic markers to match the designer paper base. More paper that I am using up from the stack so I am happy.  ;-)  Wrapped some pink bakers twine around the edge of the panel that is die cut with hearts. Stamped the sentiment and then die cut with a circle for the corner. A paper button with twine wrapped between to match.

The next one instead of designer paper I created my own with Snuggle Down and I liked how it turned out. The gray panel is textured with snowflakes and added to the base layer. More paper buttons with twine through them for the corner and some sparkle to finish it off. Voila!

Pumpkin thanks from the heart

Happy Friday! Tonight is a big night for us, it is Homecoming and Senior night at the football game. Several of these seniors are going to be greatly missed by my boys. Tomorrow is Homecoming and both the boys are attending which will be fun. We are in the first week of sprinkler blow-outs for boosters so as you imagine we are CRAZY busy. It is all good! How about some grateful pumpkins today using Painting Pumpkins the newest release from Power Poppy? Oh speaking of new releases.... Next week check back as our festive winter release will be begin with sneak peeks and fun over on the Power Poppy Blog!

Finally broke down and decided that the white pumpkins were a must to have. Seen them in stores for a few years and finally decided I will get a few. They are super fun accents for fall besides the traditional coloring and I enjoy them. So my card today is a take off the white ones you see in stores. Colored with various Copic markers. My base and the image panel both have faux stitching around the edges. The wood grain designer paper looked like a good match to the pumpkins and guess what... more of this designer paper being put to good use.  ;-)  Added some sparkles and a few pearls to finish it off. Voila!

Appreciation cards

My new stamp arrived from Stamp Simply Ribbon store and I got to play with a few of the items I ordered. My creations today are showing both the Pastor Appreciation stamp sets. The designer papers on each card was the color influence since I am trying to work through more of the paper I have.
This first one is classic feeling with the blue, red and white. The scripture is stamped on white and before I removed the ODBD Flag die I sponged it with some light blue ink. Added a red layer under and some texture to the blue base panel.  Wrapped some twine and a button for the accent.

This next one is very olive green feeling and I wish I would of pulled more of the baby blue color out of the paper, oh well. Same thing with the scripture as I sponged blue before I removed the circle die. A few sequins are the accent for this one, along with a copper ribbon slider that I have been saving forever too. Gotta start using this stuff before I am one of those ladies on the horders TV show. ha ha Kidding... Anyways I like how both these turned out, now to make 3 more of each one I will have the men covered. Yea!

Thanks for stopping in today. Enjoy your day!

Because puppies are so cute

Morning. This guy is called Do It Up Right from Sassy Cheryl's.

Very basic with just a little bit of piercing for the center panel. A few die cut clouds with added sparkle to the tops. Colored with various Copic markers and a single brad to the corner. Voila!

Warm furry hugs

I will admit I am enjoying all my snowmen that I just got. This is yet another one that is so CUTE! That tiny pup just makes me giggle... He is called Man's Best Friend and he is an older one from Sassy Cheryl's but new to me.

The designer paper was my color focus for this card using the pink hearts and the teal-ish like base.
Added some sequins and sparkle accents and my sentiment punched out with a circle. Voila!
Easy Peasy! Hope you have a GREAT weekend!

Birthday feathers

Morning! This is a birthday card for a friend who likes to hunt. Had to dig through my old CTMH stamp sets to find this one and ink it up.

Lots of layers and lots of faux stitching around the edges on this card. I do like the feel of the layers with the stitching kinda like a layered blanket. Anyways wrapped a little bit of sheer ribbon and regular around the middle panel. Added some sequins and my sentiment tag with yet again another old CTMH stamp set. Voila! Birthday feathers... Thanks for stopping by.

You're my cup of cocoa

Ack! Isn't he adorable? Another "new to me" snowman  called A Frosty Cup Of Cocoa from Sassy Cheryl's. This weekend I played on WCMD and got several creations done. Not to mention some shopping for new snowmen. hee hee  You should see my "cart" at Whipper Snapper. ha ha  My new goodies arrived from The Stamp Ribbon Store from Sharon's newest release AND I ordered some new CTMH goodies. What am I thinking??? Sometimes I can't help myself. Anyways... onto my adorable new fat guy. :-)

My stack of designer paper never seems to twindel and my goal (as usual) is to start using it more. With that being said I plan to use more of it and have that be my color choice for cards. Especially since I tend to get in a rut. Blindly choose this paper from the pile. Squeel!  I love blues, lucky me. ha ha!  Anyways, colored him with Copic markers and added sparkle to his gloves, hat and scarf. A few die cut snowflakes to the corners and a sentiment from a Sweet n Sassy stamp set and a brad or two. Voila!

WCMD Seasons are upon us

Today is World Card Making Day! I seem to play along every other year as it depends on what I have going on at home. Today is all about cards, woot woot! Over on the Power Poppy Blog Marcy has some FUN going on! Check it out and all the details about playing along in WCMD and prizes with Power Poppy. So be sure and post your creations for us to see!

When we had to decide what type of card we enjoy making the most I was torn. I make a lot of encouraging cards or thank you cards so it was a toss up. I went with encouraging today since one I needed a card for a friend and two the new Season's Seatings digi just came out and I wanted to play with it.  hee hee
The scripture was put off to the side when I was getting them on the page together. Colored with various Copic markers and then scored around the border before adding the chocolate layer. Some designer paper from my growing pile of paper and added flourishes pearls to the edge. Voila! Happy WCMD, have fun!

We got a sale happening. For a limited time!!! 24 Hour Flash Sale (Sale ends Sunday, Oct 7, 2018 at 7am CST)

Bring it on!  :-)  Over at the Power Poppy Blog today Marcy has a new digi for you to play with called Fall Wellies. Since I didn't have time to play with that one, I am going to share one of my favorite cards with the clear set Feeling Fall that the new digi is based from.

I do like how you can do early fall or late with the leaves for colors. Just awesome right?

The new Power and Spark is posted It's Your Birthday as well with our host Miss Tosha! This is your chance at winning some Power Poppy Bucks! So check it out!

Wasabi thank you

Good morning. Fortunes of Fall stamp set sure keeps coming to my table lately. The images in the set are just perfect and I haven't even touched the corn image yet. Ack.... Anyways, this is a quick thank you card and I actually used this Wasabi tape I found at the local store. I like the give thanks it say and that it was blue. :-)

I used some designer paper down the left side and added the Wasabi tape at the edge. Also to the inside to match the front. Pierced around my image panel and added to the front. A few enamel dots and my sentiments to finish it off. Voila! Thanks for stopping by today.
