You are so kind

Happy Friday! Today is another attempt I made with these new watercolor pencils I got as a gift. The picture is a little blurry for some reason no matter how many I took, please excuse that. This is Chickadee in Barberry printed on TE watercolor paper. I think the pencils look a little more blended on this card, how a watercolor card should look. :-)

I have two challenges for this card one is the Power and Spark challenge this month Winter Blooms. The other is the Dirty Dozen January challenge using my faux stitching. My designer paper is from ODBD Holly Jolly paper pack, with a snowfall textured green panel for the back. Added a few enamel dots and sparkle to the snow. Voila   I am enjoying these watercolored pencils I will admit. A few of you have given me some great tips and I appreciate the help.

I Love this image and you did a super job coloring it Stacy! I think yo got the hang of the pencils :) The red is a perfect frame for it and dotted dp and embossing looks great with it too!

You aced the coloring on this, Stacy! It turned out fantastic! Your bird looks so soft and fluffy. I didn't like the way my bird turned out when I colored it with Copics, so I might try again with watercolors. The papers you used are way cute, plus the snowfall embossing and the enamel dots. Perfect!

Oh, Stac, your watercoloring is fabulous, and I think (as Leslie said) that you've aced the coloring! Beautifully done, and I really love this layout with the DP, the faux-stitching, embossing, and the beautiful DP. And of course, I always love how you use the bling...perfectly placed! Love it, my friend! Warm hugs and love! xoxo

This is the sweetest image and one you've colored beautifully!! I adore your card, Stacy!! I have tried lots of water colors and the ones with really bright pigments come on paper strips that you use a damp brush to pick the color up from. It is such a variable art form...need more practice but it sure isn't for perfectionists like me who want a certain look. They seem to have their own minds! :)
