Birthday rose

Morning. Do you ever get really frustrated with your camera and want to scream? Well I am of late I a because for the life of me I can't seem to get this card and another one to come out non blurry. Checked and rechecked the camera settings to make sure they weren't "off" somehow and nothing. What is the deal.... I finally said forget it and just took the best one that I thought was less blurry. Bare with me please.  :-(

This rose is called Vital Rose from the Instant Garden collection at Power Poppy. My sweet and talented friend Leslie is who inspired me with the shades of purple for this rose. Check out her gorgeous rose HERE. You will not be dissapointed I tell you.
I knew that I was going to cut the rose out, so it is printed on the larger side. I colored with various Copic markers then cut around the edges so that I could pop it up on dimensionals. A few decorative die cuts for the layers from an older Spellbinders die. Some purple designer paper for the base layer and the added white decorative layer. A pearl to finish it off, Voila!

Gorgeous! Stacy your colouring is amazing, love the bit of yellow on the tips, beautiful shading with the purples! Yes, Leslie is my inspiration as well, she does such an amazing job on her cards! Love the dies you used for your base and layering, it goes very well with your rose! Love this!

Wow, Stacy! See, you do amazing coloring with Copics and I can hardly ever feel quite happy with them. Sometimes, but not always. This is really gorgeous! Stunning in both coloring and design. Odd about the blurry photo. Your new(ish) camera? Same kind as mine. Is this the only photo it happened with? I sure hope it's just a fluke!

Oh, Stacy, this may be a wee bit blurry, but it sure is gorgeous! If you hadn't mentioned it, I probably would to have noticed it. Your coloring is exquisite, and this is such a beautiful rose! Love the dies you've used and love your fussy cutting. So worth all the work! Hugs and love! xoxo
