Meet the Bloom Brigade

With a little bit of the story of Power Poppy unveiled yesterday, today we get to share some of the "faces" that will help bring Power Poppy to full bloom! We call ourselves... "The Bloom Brigade"! How stinkin FUN is that? Want more fun? How about a little tidbit about each of us?  Marcella asked each of us a question, to find out what our question and answers are you need to hop along! Here is my question and answer.

Q. I burst into uncontrollable laughter whenever?

A. Our house is filled with laughter as you can imagine with twin boys, so laughing is rather natural all the time. J  One thing I tend to laugh at uncontrollably lately is the show Duck Dynasty. Now at first I refused to watch this show and join the "craze". They made me sit down and watch one full episode to see if I liked it. Oh my word!  Jason or Jase is my all time favorite, his facial expressions alone and his “nah” always get me laughing. Throw a bit of Si on the side and you have a good laugh for the night.  And I will admit… there is a State Farm Commercial where the husband is on the phone at 2 am talking real quite as his wife comes down the stairs asking who he is talking to. You know the commercial, we all do! Her line when she says “What are you wearing Jake, from State Farm”  It pans over to Jake and he says “Kahkis” The whole commercial gets me every time laughing. My husband even rewinds the DVR so he can hear me laugh every time. I would switch insurances just for that commercial. HA!

Now hop along and find out a little something about my fabulous friends. Trust me YOU will love this hop!

Can't wait to see the cards that you will be creating. Love the picture of you and your beautiful dog. He reminds me of the G.S. we had, Duke. It was a very sad day in the family when he passed away. Mary L Schreiber

I just love you friend. Your kindness, support and loyalty have been food for my soul. Thank you for being a sister in so many ways. I’m so blessed that life has brought us and our family’s together. Who would have ever believed it. Thanks for making laugh and cry all the time :) I love that we can do both of those things in a matter of seconds too! Power to the poppies!

Stacy girl...first off, your photo rocks girlie! You look just like a model! And that is one handsome dude by your side....I am sure he has your back! :) I can't tell you how happy I am that we are on the same team! You have been such a sweet and supportive friend. Along with another sweetie, that will remain nameless, we sure can get the JT folks a'talkin, can't we? I still think back to that weekend of the battle of the cards...oh my word, what fun that was! You in your pink sneaks makin' off with the drumsticks! Ha! Now everybody reading this is going to wonder what in the world we are talking about! So excited for our journey ahead, and so thankful that I am making it with all of you! Big hugs....and GO DAWGS! ;)

Well, Stacy, my little buddy... what can I say? Perhaps that I've never watched Duck Dynasty, but that I LOVE that State Farm commercial. It cracks me up every time! I do have State Farm insurance, too, and (just a plug here) they have been very good to me. We've got good times ahead of us, and I'm glad to be back in the saddle with such good friends. So glad we've stayed in touch all this time. Wally and LuLu send smooches to Ranger.

I started giggling just reading this because I laugh at DD too. It is on so late here I have a hard time staying up. You are an amazing person and I just love ya. I smiled remembering that walk to the airport. I have been in your shoes before. Airports still give me anxiety. You were so sweet and BRAVE. Really excited to be back stamping with you again.

I got the giggles just reading your post because I remembered our heated chats about why Duck Dynasty was funny when we were at YS. Remember how some weren't in our "camp?" HA! Well lil sis -- here's to the start of something beautiful! So glad to have you here with me on this oh so wonderful ride! :-)

Oh my goodness girl...you had me giggling just thinking about that commercial! LOVE it! Now, for DD...I admit to watching it a couple of times, and actually laughing out loud...I don't usually LOL at the television, so that's saying a lot. I'm not surprised that there's always laughing going on in your house though...as ornery as you, your boys...and even your husband is...I'm sure there's always some commotion to be laughing at! Love ya girl!! BUNCHES!!
